12 Month Program

The mission of the Riverside-Arrowhead Physician Assistant Residency program is to expand the knowledge of Physician Assistants in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology. We believe that with intensive training our Physician Assistant Residents will be exceptional providers in the inpatient, outpatient and labor and delivery settings.

This program was developed in 2005 by Surgical Physician Assistants in multiple subspecialties to train PA¹s in surgery to have a well-rounded background in general and specialty areas of surgery.

Bridgeport Hospital has been recognized as a Trauma Center for more than a decade by the State of Connecticut and the American College of Surgeons. Site of Connecticut’s only Burn Center, Bridgeport Hospital has the emergency medicine and surgical critical care expertise to provide the highest level of care available to traumatically injured patients.
